Our service is ranked among the top 10 largest IPTV providers globally. This means we offer quality, stability, and security, but it also means we are targeted 24/7 by ISPs and sports organizations.
We continuously work to bypass restrictions imposed by ISPs and sports organizations, but this is not always possible, especially with major ISPs.
This is also why many users may experience difficulties watching streams without using an IPTV-friendly VPN.
Around 99% of the issues or errors users experience are caused by ISP restrictions. We therefore recommend using an IPTV-friendly VPN to help bypass these restrictions and to protect your privacy from ISPs that may monitor or log your internet activity. In some countries, this can be particularly important due to local piracy laws.

Below is a list of common errors and issues users may experience, along with possible solutions you can try:

  • What does “HTTP Data Source Exception” mean?
Possible causes: The playlist or stream cannot be reached due to ISP interference, incorrect host/url, expired subscription, DNS/network issue, or blocked access.

Try: Test other channels, restart the app and router, clear cache, confirm the playlist details, and test with/without a VPN.

  • Why is it buffering or freezing?
Possible causes: Weak Wi‑Fi, ISP interference, VPN routing, an overloaded device, or an incompatible stream.

Try: Restart the device and router, test Ethernet, try another channel or lower-quality stream, clear app/device cache, and test with/without a VPN. If it occurs mainly on popular live events (basic package), it is often due to network congestion on our end, our Basic Package is an entry level option, mainly recommended for IPTV beginners or for standard live streaming and VOD use.

  • Why does buffering start after a few minutes?
Possible causes: Low RAM or storage, too many background apps, large EPG data, or a stream/server issue.

Try: Restart the device, close background apps, clear cache, free storage, reduce EPG data where possible, and test another channel.

  • Why does my player say “Failed to update playlist”?
Possible causes: Expired or invalid playlist URL, incorrect login details, ISP interference, changed server address, or cache problems.

Try: Refresh the playlist, re-check the URL and login details, restart player, clear cache, and test with/without a VPN.

  • Why are there no channels after adding my playlist?
Possible causes: The playlist was copied incorrectly, credentials are invalid, the subscription expired, ISP interference, or we changed the host/url.

Try: Re-add the playlist using your current credentials. Confirm your subscription credentials and expire date, and test with/without a VPN.

  • What does error 401 mean?
Meaning: The server did not accept the authentication details.

Try: Check username, password, expiry status, and simultaneous connection limits (we don't support multi connections), and test with/without a VPN.

  • What does error 403 mean?
Meaning: The server understood the request but refused access.

Try: Check account status, device/connection limits, host/url, and test with/without a VPN.

  • What does error 404 mean?
Meaning: The requested playlist, channel, or stream cannot be found.

Try: Check username, password, expiry status, host/url, and test with/without a VPN.

  • Why does one channel not work while others do?
Possible causes: That channel’s source is offline, overloaded, moved, or geo-restricted.

Try: Test a different channel and wait briefly. If only that channel remains affected, report its name and the time of failure to the provider.

  • Why do all channels stop working at once?
Possible causes: Provider outage, expired subscription, changed host/url, or ISP interference.

Try: Restart the device/router, refresh the playlist, and confirm subscription status, and test with/without a VPN.

  • Why does my player crash or freeze?
Possible causes: Low memory, limited storage, corrupted cache, an outdated app, or a too large playlist.

Try: Restart the device, update TiviMate, clear cache, free storage, remove unused playlists, and test with one playlist enabled, or delete countries from playlist to make it smaller.

  • Why does the app work on Wi‑Fi but not through a VPN?
Possible causes: Slow VPN server, routing issue, blocked VPN IP range, DNS conflict, or VPN doesn't allow IPTV content.

Try: Change VPN server, test without VPN, select a nearer server, or use an IPTV friendly VPN like Private Internet Access (PIA) or Surfshark.

  • Why does the app work on mobile data but not home Wi‑Fi?
Possible causes: Router DNS issue, ISP interference, Wi‑Fi interference or firewall settings.

Try: Restart the router, test Ethernet, check DNS/router settings, temporarily test a VPN.
